Dear Friends:

With all the school closing occurring around our district we are grateful to God for his care over us. Let’s continue to obey his health principles and keep the school in prayers. Also, your child’s academic progress report will be in the mail very soon. Let us continue to work in partnership towards your child’s success .

To Parents and Friends: “Phil and I want to thank you for all the love and prayers that ascended to heaven for us. Also, I want to thank each person who took on more work during my absence. From hugs to teaching for me, everything was most appreciated. Phil is home now and getting stronger each day. Please continue to remember us in your prayers.” Phil & Phyllis

Another Thank You to all who attended our “Out Of This World” Picnic N Pops! We were able to raise over $1000 to help with our trip to St. Louis. The Band wishes to thank our terrific team of Boosters for their dedication and creativity.

Remember! Please do not let your children attend school or school event if ill. Also, if 25% of our students or staff is sick you will be notified of school closing proceedings. Information from the heath department has already been sent home with the students.

From Grade K & 1: “Farms, hay, and alpacas will help us to feel the fun and excitement of learning as we close out our reading unit on farms this week.  We’ll celebrate with a barnyard party on Thursday afternoon (dress like a farmer that day!) and a trip to see the alpacas on Friday.  We’ll also find lots to do with the letter “h” and continue our study of animals by learning about the grand coverings that God gave them!”

Grades 4 and 5:  “This year has been a very busy year so far. On September 26, we had our annual family night of capture the flag. The Lord provided such wonderful weather and a fun time was had by all. Last week (October 12-16) we finished our ITBS Testing. It was an exhausting week for the students. This week we had the privilege to plant some lilies and spring bulbs, which had been donated, around the school. We are excited to see our efforts pay off this coming spring. With in the next couple of weeks we will be setting up a bird feeder outside our classroom window. We look forward to seeing lots of God’s wonderful feathered creatures this coming winter.”

Parent-Teacher Conferences: We will be prepared to meet you on November 5th. Please plan for this date to discuss your child’s progress.

Fall Festival: The date for this event has been changed to NOVEMBER 14.

Coming Soon! Citrus Fruit school band fundraiser in November.

Bring Those Box TopsJ! Box Tops will be collected next week so that they can be redeemed at the end of the month. Help us to make this venture successful.
