 Friday Facts 2009-10-30 FRIDAY FACTS BCA’s Weekly Newsletter October 30, 2009
Dear Friends:
We are at the end of another month and God continues to bless His work. Everyone at Battle Creek Academy knows that there are many who pray for our success and God’s guidance, and we thank you. This is a very spiritual work –one that is directly related to the plan of salvation—and we are humbled by it. Our hope is that these weekly newsletters help the reader to see this truth as we do.
From Grade 8: “L.I.F.T, Lifestyle Improvement for Teens was a great experience for all of us. Between each of our breakout sessions and meetings, many of us made many friends. We had an awesome time, laughing, chatting, and being creative in all of our breakout classes. Even though it rained the whole time and the temperature was quite frigid, we still greatly enjoyed our trip. We, as an entire Eighth Grade class, have made and will continue to make many memories, whether they are made here at BCA, or at Camp Au Sable.” The 8th Grade Class
Parent-Teacher Conferences: We will be prepared to meet you on November 5th. School will be dismissed at 11:30 am. Please plan for this date to discuss your child’s progress. Also, the band will be ministering at Tabernacle SDA Church for a 3ABN recording. If you child will be participating in this event please come in and see us as soon as you can on that day.
Call It In! If your child has to be away from school because of illness or other reason, please call the school and let us know. This helps us with our records for that day.
Fall Festival: The date for this event has been changed to NOVEMBER 14.
