Friday Facts 2009-05-08 FRIDAY FACTS
May 8, 2009
Here it is, time for me to write my last Friday Facts. It just seems like yesterday when I was writing my first Friday Facts. I want to tell you how much I have enjoyed sharing with you this year. I hope you have learned more about your school because of this letter. I have appreciated the words of encouragement that many of you have shared with me. I know this community will open its arms wide to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Agard.
I wish you could have walked in my shoes this year and seen the excellent teaching and teamwork taking place in your school. We are so blessed to have a team dedicated to Christian Education. I have been blessed this year to have students in our building who have helped to make this year great. The cooperation has been excellent. As I talk and share with friends who also teach, it really hits home that there is something special about BCA that many other schools do not have.
I would like to give a special thank you to all our board members who spend countless hours helping to make this school what it is. Being on the board is a major commitment that often goes unnoticed. I would also like to say a special thank you to Bob Essex, school board chairman, who dedicated endless hours to our school during this interim year.
I would also like to thank you as parents for your dedication to Christian Education. We could not do it without you. As a product of Adventist Education I know my parents sacrificed a great deal to keep my sister and I in school. Looking back our family has no regrets for putting the money into Adventist Education. The Lord works things out even when the budget doesn’t match.
Home and School would like to collect the last Box Tops for this school year by Wednesday, May 20. Thank you for your support this year.
We would like to say a special thank you for a great week of Teacher and Staff appreciation. Everything has been wonderful.
As you have read in earlier editions of the Friday Facts, our phone system is fading fast. If you should call the school after school hours, and cannot leave a message you may call and leave your message at 223-0719.
